I often feel how certain things just stick to your heart and slowly becomes a part of who you are today. One of the most important part of my life is my 'Diary', it is filled with endless stories of the moments I cherish and want to relive again. It's been a constant non-judgmental friend of mine over the past 2 years, a place where my thoughts can be poured out without the fear of being judged.
Also, I really like reading all your newsletters:) ,the kind of simplicity you have in your writing is something I admire the most. We often forget about the small intricacies of life and left them unnoticed due to the changing world around us. But by reading your newsletters, I became so convinced by the idea of giving 'importance to every small/tiny thing' occuring everyday around me/us.
Disha, first of all thank you so much for your kind words. I am so touched to know that you like reading my newsletters. Thank you for finding beauty in my simplistic view of the world. It truly encourages me to be more authentic with my voice.
I love your relationship with your 'Diary'. It's beautiful how you see it as a non judgemental friend and that you are able to open up to it. Writing is so powerful, no matter the capacity or the audience.
Nice read about possession of things. It is always better to ponder over the pros and cons on how these things can help us in our journey of life, without wasting the hard earned resources.Optimum use of these things should be kept in mind, instead of having them as show piece or luxury.
Yes exactly. Mindful consumption and slow conscious shopping is the only way left to fulfill desires while caring for the environment. Thank you for reading :)
Lovely to read your weekly newsletter, bhai. We share a lot of common interests - music, photography, writing, environmentalism, and authenticity above all!
This made me remember my own college days and the only two prized, sanctified materials I had back then - Nokia XpressMusic phone and Creative Speakers. And then somehow I borrowed Sony in-earphones from a friend :-p.
Linkin Park, Green Day, 30 seconds to mars, Paramore and all were my Gods and Goddesses :-D
What spurred you to finally go vegan? I follow a lot of animal rights orgs on IG and it honestly feels like the best choice if you care about what humans are doing to all non-human life on Earth. Especially sea creatures.
Also, I want a motorcycle very badly! Mostly for the summer months. I dont like winter. And I'd love to join a bike club too and we can all ride together. A cross country trip on a bike is a bucket list item.
After watching this documentary, I just turned vegan without thinking much and it's been 5 years now. Happy to help you if you have any questions or concerns :)
Go for it, please buy that motorcycle. Riding a motorcycle is one of those things that I suggest should be done as early in life as possible. Riding for long hours on a motorbike after a certain age does become very taxing. Go for it, take that cross country trip. All else can wait :)
Oh awesome! Environmental documentaries are very affecting! Did you use any cookbooks when you became vegan? My biggest problem is being to learn how to cook since I can't rely on highly processed foods if I convert to veganism.

Bhai, we should meet and talk at length about all these things. It's so rare to find people with genuine common interest!
Thank you for all your support over the past few months. Every like, comment, restack means the world truly. I hope we get to meet soon :)
Thank you for your beautiful post.
It's a pleasure to get to know you through your writing. You're really open about intimate things and I love that.
Aww thank you so much Seema. Hugs

Great question! So I watched this documentary in 2019 which moved me to become plant based. It's called Earthlings and here is the link - https://youtu.be/8gqwpfEcBjI?si=_yPqMh1eObyd4--M
