I truly appreciate this article, Rishabh. I have recently started learning about systems and mental health, and just about the same time, a friend of mine asked, “do you have some backing that lets you travel so much?” And no matter how much I would like to say i have put a lot of work to make it happen, the privilege I was born into made it so easy for me. Like u said, even when I had 900 rupees in my account, I knew friends and family who would send me help if I needed it. And questioning this privilege, feeling the guilt, not knowing enough as to what to do, trying to find answers is a journey I am on too…thanks for writing this! 🤍

I think of this many a times when I have privileged ways to deal with life's frustration or setbacks. Even those seem privileged !

Relate so much to this Rishabh. Even acknowledging that privilege is a step forward.

This is a very important article. We must make efforts to talk to people who are different from us.

On my solo trips, interacting with people from all kinds of backgrounds-richer than me, poorer than me, speaking different languages, of different ages-has given me a lot of perspective that there is a lot to explore and learn about, thats beyond my own little “normal” world.
